Kemi Badenoch claims the prime minister’s Schools Bill will reverse enhancements made by the earlier Tory authorities.
She says these reforms weren’t launched in Wales, which has been underneath Labour management, and that Welsh academic outcomes have "tumbled".
"Poor children in England now do better than wealthier children in Wales".
She says the invoice is an "attack on excellence", "higher standards" and "aspiration", describing it because the "worst of socialism".
