Badenoch grills Starmer over North Sea oil: ‘He’s PM, he can change the legislation’
Kemi Badenoch opened Prime Minister’s Questions with a reference to the oil crisis, asking if he will "approve the licences for Rosebank and Jackdaw gas fields in the North Sea".
Sir Keir Starmer said under statute, it is a matter for the energy secretary, which is "the same arrangement as was in place under the last government".
