Jesse Eisenberg, who starred, wrote and directed A Real Pain, has instructed Sky News how he got here up with the story for the movie.
He mentioned: "I used to be making an attempt to adapt a brief story I wrote about two related characters going to Mongolia collectively and the script was not going nicely. Then an advert got here on the web for Holocaust excursions with lunch… and it took me to an upper-middle class, English-speaking tour of Holocaust websites and I simply thought it was such an interesting phenomenon.
"This idea that we want to tour historical sites of trauma but at the same time maintain the creature comforts of staying in a nice hotel, taking an air-conditioned bus or sitting first class in a train on the way to Auschwitz."
