The ‘Banshees of Inisherin’ actor has had the general public interested in how you can pronounce his Irish final identify, so he was thrilled when BBC Radio 1 host Greg James truly pronounced it appropriately as “Kee-oh-gan.” “Every time I say it on the radio,” Greg started throughout Barry’s March 11 look on The Breakfast Show, “people are like, ‘It’s not Kee-OH-gan.’ I’m like, ‘It is!’” Barry requested who may be spreading the wrong pronunciation, with Greg joking it was “everyone.” But in keeping with Barry, “Until a Keoghan tells you it’s not how you say it, well then you know.” For his half, Greg discovered himself notably aggravated when of us would inform him to not “pronounce the -eogan,” exclaiming, “Yeah you do pronounce the -eogan!” And Barry definitely agreed with the DJ, quipping, “No, Kee-gan is wrong.
