Betting on the Super Bowl? Legal consultants take purpose at sports activities playing commercials

40 years in the past, Professor Richard Daynard and his colleagues on the Public Health Advocacy Institute took on — and beat — Big Tobacco. Now, they’re taking over on-line sports activities playing, an business that is exploded because it was legalized in 2018. In a lawsuit filed in Massachusetts in December, the institute at Northeastern University alleged that DraftKings, which is headquartered in Boston, ran deceptive "$1,000 Bonus" promotions. "The whole point is to get people hooked," Daynard instructed CNN.
