Khan will probably be discussing the choice to ban followers of Israeli crew Maccabi Tel Aviv from attending a soccer match in Birmingham subsequent week over security fears.

The choice, taken by the town’s native Safety Advisory Group following the police deeming the occasion "high risk", has principally been condemned – although there was a trickle of assist.
