Border skirmishes ‘usually manageable’, Pakistan’s UK excessive commissioner says

Mohammed Faisal, Pakistan’s excessive commissioner to the UK, addressed stories of explosions being heard in India-administered Kashmir following a ceasefire settlement mediated by the US.

Faisal mentioned ceasefire violations occur "all the time" on the Line of Control and that he hoped the stories of explosions have been an aberration and the ceasefire holds.

The excessive commissioner mentioned border skirmishes are "generally manageable," including "the Line of Control heats up, cools down. It is not an international border."
