Chef Tony Bourdain is a New Yorker at coronary heart; he loves the vitality and the soul of New York however recently, he detests the touristy amusement park that New York City is turning into. So he units off on a quest to rediscover why he loves this concrete jungle. Tony finds himself – a lot to his chagrin – hanging from a swinging trapeze, a la Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City. Prune restaurant is simply the place, and cooks Eric Ripert and Scott Bryan are simply the chums! The three cooks talk about their culinary comforts and New York recollections over a meal of bone marrow, prawns in anchovy butter, and radishes and butter, cooked to perfection by chef Gabrielle Hamilton, recognized for taking meals near her coronary heart and sharing them together with her clients.
