The Scottish Labour chief Anas Sarwar has referred to as for Sir Keir Starmer to resign as prime minister and Labour chief, saying the "leadership in Downing Street has to change".
Sarwar stated that his resolution "isn’t easy, and it’s not without pain". But he insisted his precedence is to "my country, Scotland".
"There have been too many mistakes, they promised they were going to be different – but too much has happened".
He additionally praised Starmer – however stated he can not proceed.
