BREAKING: Tearful Angela Rayner says she acted with ‘integrity’ over stamp responsibility ‘mistake’

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has informed Sky News she "did not try and dodge any tax"  however admitted not paying the required quantity of stamp responsibility on a house in Hove.

Speaking to Sky’s political editor Beth Rigby on the Electoral Dysfunction podcast, she stated she was "devastated" by the claims made towards her and stated the error stemmed from inaccurate authorized recommendation given to her.

Ms Rayner went on to say she would pay again any tax she owed.

The Daily Telegraph reported Ms Rayner prevented £40,000 in stamp responsibility on the flat in Hove by eradicating her identify from the deeds of one other property in Greater Manchester.
