Portuguese authorities discovered 13-year-old Alfie Hallett and a person affected by stab wounds – each of them had been pronounced useless.
Police consider the perpetrator, who was a convicted killer, was the previous associate of the boy’s mom.
The British Foreign Office stated in a press release: "We are in contact with the local authorities following an incident in Portugal, and stand ready to provide consular support."
