Chancellor making an attempt to undo ‘injury of her personal selections’

Sky News’s Wilfred Frost interviews shadow enterprise and commerce secretary Andrew Griffith in regards to the ongoing points at Heathrow, the chancellor’s upcoming Spring Statement, and the conflict in Ukraine.

When requested in regards to the expectations for Rachel Reeves’s Spring Statement, Mr Griffith is questioned on whether or not he would again cuts to public spending. He responds: "That is something we support, we need this country to grow, we are not growing."

He added: "We are in a recession on a per capita basis due to the choices the chancellor made in her last budget, this upcoming one is an emergency one to repair some of the damage from that."
