‘Clear technique’ from the IDF to ‘silence’ journalists, says Al Jazeera editor
The managing editor of Al Jazeera, Mohamed Moawad, paid tribute to cameraman Mohammed Salama and stated he was considered one of a bunch of journalists "trying to get some footage of the area," on the time he was killed.
"They were reporting closer to the hospital, knowing that was somehow safer than the frontline," he stated.
"We’re talking about a crime against journalism," Moawad added.
