Azerbaijan’s lead negotiator has advised Sky News there may be purpose to stay optimistic about local weather motion regardless of the election of Donald Trump as US president.
The COP29 talks start on Monday within the capital Baku.
But the selection of Azerbaijan as host is controversial with the nation "committed" to elevating gasoline output which it says is important to satisfy EU demand.
