Could a brand new regulation actually defend Europe’s soil? | FT Rethink
Approximately 60 to 70 per cent of European soils are in poor situation, on account of agricultural actions. As the FT’s Clive Cookson explains, this has prompted the EU to introduce its first regulation designed the defend this valuable useful resource. But though the laws represents a constructive step ahead, it lacks legally binding targets and can be expensive to implement.
