Talks are going down inside FIFA about increasing the Women’s World Cup to 48 groups in a transfer that might increase an English-led bid, Sky News understands.
There is a rising want throughout the Football Association (FA) to attempt to host the event in 2031 having been unable to convey the lads’s World Cup to England since 1966.
