COVID inquiry: Barnard Castle breach ‘a nasty second’, says Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson has admitted supporting former chief adviser Dominic Cummings when allegations emerged he had pushed to Barnard Castle at Easter 2020.

Mr Cummings drove 250 miles to Durham on the top of the lockdown in March, after which drove to Barnard Castle, which he claimed was to check his eyesight.
