Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry lead ‘Crime 101,’ in theaters on Feb. 13. Set towards the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, ‘Crime 101’ weaves the story of an elusive thief (Hemsworth), whose high-stakes heists unfolding alongside the enduring 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the rating of a lifetime with hopes of this being his ultimate job, his path collides with a disillusioned insurance coverage dealer (Berry) who’s going through her personal crossroads, forcing the 2 to collaborate. Determined to crack the case, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) closes in on the operation, elevating the stakes even increased. As the multimillion-dollar heist approaches, the road between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are compelled to confront the price of their decisions–and the conclusion that there is not any turning again. Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella of the identical title, the movie is written and directed by Bart Layton (‘American Animals,’ ‘The Imposter’), and co-stars Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nick Nolte.
