Dame Antonia Romeo has been confirmed as the brand new head of the civil service.
She replaces Sir Chris Wormald, who was sacked final week, and is the primary lady to carry the submit.
Sir Keir Starmer mentioned: "I am delighted to appoint Dame Antonia Romeo as the new cabinet secretary. She is an outstanding public servant, with a 25‑year record of delivering for the British people."
