Debris from SpaceX launch seen falling in Turks and Caicos

Orange and white streaks lit up the sky in Turks and Caicos after the SpaceX Starship failed and broke up within the ambiance. The "rapid unscheduled disassembly" — as SpaceX calls it — "happened over Bahamas, with debris passing over Turks and Caicos a couple minutes later at ~120 km altitude (~75 miles)," in response to a trajectory evaluation from Jonathan McDowell, an astrophysicist and astronomer on the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
