The defence secretary has been requested by Sky News about studies that a whole lot of migrants crossed the English Channel yesterday small boats.
Speaking to Sky’s Trevor Phillips, John Healey described the scenes as "pretty shocking", including that "the truth is Britain has lost control of its borders over the last five years".
Mr Healey blamed the scenario partly on the earlier authorities, claiming that the Tories left "an asylum system in chaos" and "record levels of immigration".
