An advocate for detained immigrants says that a number of detainees have been on a starvation strike for the previous twelve days to protest circumstances at their Florida detention heart. The Department of Homeland Security denies this, telling CNN there isn’t any starvation strike on the so-called "Alligator Alcatraz."
