‘Economy will not enhance for years’: Former Bank of England governor asks Reeves to be ‘trustworthy’

Lord Mervyn King has warned the chancellor won’t be able to show the UK economic system round in a significant manner for "years".

The former governor of the Bank of England was talking to Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips forward of the chancellor’s autumn price range subsequent month.

Asked how a lot bother the UK economic system is in, he replies that "it’s not a disaster, but it is a serious problem".
