Local police say that the kids have been shot in a "domestic disturbance" at totally different properties.
Police spokesperson Chris Bordelon mentioned 10 individuals have been shot in whole and among the eight youngsters who died have been associated to the gunman.
The suspect was reportedly shot and killed by police throughout a chase.
