The mayor of El Paso, Renard Johnson, has criticized the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its resolution to shut the airspace across the metropolis. The airspace has since been reopened after the FAA introduced its closure for 10 days as a result of a dispute with the Pentagon over using counter-drone lasers.
