Seven candidates have certified to take part in CNN’s California gubernatorial major debate on May 5.
Republicans Chad Bianco and Steve Hilton, together with Democrats Xavier Becerra, Matt Mahan, Katie Porter, Tom Steyer and Antonio Villaraigosa, are eligible to participate within the debate.
The state’s nonpartisan major is ready for June 2. The high two candidates, no matter occasion, will advance to the final election.
