EU leaders fail to agree on a 50 billion euro help bundle for Ukraine, renegotiation of EU finances

BRUSSELS — European Union leaders have did not agree on a €50 billion ($55 billion) help bundle for Ukraine and on the renegotiation of the EU finances, EU Council President Charles Michel stated Thursday.

The monetary bundle couldn’t be endorsed by all 27 leaders, who earlier Thursday agreed to open membership negotiations with Ukraine. The cash is aimed toward serving to the war-torn nation climate the Russian invasion.

Ukraine is badly relying on the funds to assist its broken economic system survive within the coming 12 months.
