EU leaders speak coordination over Greenland as Trump readies for Davos conferences

The escalating showdown between the U.S. and its NATO allies over the destiny of Greenland seems set to be a dominant matter of dialog as leaders collect at this week’s World Economic Forum occasion in Davos, with U.S. President Donald Trump once more declaring on Monday that American possession of the Arctic island is "imperative."

Trump stated in a put up to social media that, following a cellphone name with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, "I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland.
