FAA Says It Will Ramp Up Inspections of Boeing Facilities

Federal air-safety regulators stated Friday that they’d ramp up inspections of Boeing’s manufacturing amenities after grounding roughly 170 Boeing jets within the wake of an emergency touchdown final week.

The Federal Aviation Administration, which has stated it was investigating the plane maker after the Jan. 5 accident involving the Alaska Airlines jet, stated it could conduct an audit of the 737 MAX 9 manufacturing line and its suppliers.
