Fetterman waves Israeli flag at protesters calling for a cease-fire

Sen. John Fetterman upset protesters calling for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas by waving an Israeli flag outdoors of the Russell Senate Office Building.

The protesters yelled boos and shouted “Shame!” as Mr. Fetterman left the constructing with the flag.

“JohnFetterman saw veterans getting arrested and laughed,” veterans group About Face posted Thursday on social media alongside a video of the Pennsylvania Democrat strolling and waving the flag.



“We asked to see @SenGillibrand. We were put in cuffs. We need leaders who listen to veterans demanding a #CeaseFireNow,” the publish mentioned.

Some members of the group had been arrested Thursday for protesting within the Capitol workplace of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, New York Democrat.

“What a joke!” among the protesters had been heard yelling at Mr. Fetterman, Pennsylvania Democrat, whereas others shouted that he helps genocide.

“You do a disservice to Pennsylvania!” one other yelled.

Mr. Fetterman has been unwavering in his assist of Israel. He mentioned final month that “now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire.”

“Hamas does not want peace, they want to destroy Israel,” he wrote on X on Oct. 18. “We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized.”

Outside of his workplace within the Russell Senate Office Building, he shows images of kidnapped Israelis.

“My office will display every last one of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas until they are safely returned home,” he wrote final month on the social media web site. “We won’t stop sharing their stories until then.”
