Finucane household converse after UK authorities announce public inquiry into 1989 homicide

The Finucane household say they wish to "expose the whole truth behind the murder" of Belfast lawyer Pat Finucane following the announcement of a public inquiry into his homicide.

His killing, probably the most infamous of the Northern Ireland troubles, raised the problem of collusion between loyalist paramilitaries and British state forces.

The lawyer had come to prominence as an efficient defence solicitor, representing IRA members and loyalists accused of terrorist offences on the top of the battle.
