A former Boeing quality-control supervisor alleges that for years staff at its 787 Dreamliner manufacturing unit in Everett, Washington, routinely took components that have been deemed unsuitable to fly out of an inside scrap yard and put them again on manufacturing unit meeting strains. In his first community TV interview, Merle Meyers, a 30-year veteran of Boeing, described to CNN what he says was an elaborate off-the-books apply that Boeing managers on the Everett manufacturing unit used to satisfy manufacturing deadlines, together with taking broken and improper components from the corporate’s scrapyard, storehouses and loading docks. #CNN #information
