A former deputy nationwide safety adviser says it’s probably Ukraine should hand over a few of its conquered territory to Russia.
Ben Rhodes, who labored underneath Barack Obama, mentioned Kyiv would wish concessions, together with safety ensures, for that deal to work.
However, to date the US had "front loaded" all of the concessions in favour of Russia.
"The White House strategy has taken Russian positions on Ukraine and turned them into US positions, and then blame the Ukrainians for not embracing those positions to end the war," he mentioned.
