A former deputy nationwide safety adviser says it’s probably Ukraine must hand over a few of its conquered territory to Russia.
Ben Rhodes, who labored below Barack Obama, mentioned Kyiv would want concessions, together with safety ensures, for that deal to work.
However, to this point the US had "front loaded" all of the concessions in favour of Russia.
"The White House strategy has taken Russian positions on Ukraine and turned them into US positions, and then blame the Ukrainians for not embracing those positions to end the war," he mentioned.
