Rodrigo Duterte, the previous President of the Philippines, has been “forcibly taken” onto a aircraft headed for The Hague, his daughter stated, after being taken into custody in Manila underneath an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ICC alleges Duterte dedicated crimes towards humanity throughout his controversial battle on medicine, which led to hundreds of deaths.
