Former Premier League referee David Coote avoids jail sentence over sexual video of schoolboy

Former Premier League referee David Coote has averted jail as he was sentenced over a sexual video of a schoolboy discovered on his laptop computer.

Nottingham Crown Court heard the footage was class A – probably the most severe type – and confirmed a 15-year-old boy in class uniform.

He was sentenced to 9 months in jail suspended for 2 years.
