Jeff Dewit, the chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, resigned after the Daily Mail printed an audio recording of a dialog between Kari Lake and Dewit. Lake claims Dewit tried to bribe her to maintain her out of the 2024 Senate race. Dewit denied making an attempt to bribe Lake, and stated he is resigning as a result of Lake is threatening to launch further recordings of him.
