Government outlines plans to deal with ‘nationwide emergency’ of violence in opposition to ladies

Violence in opposition to ladies and ladies minister Jess Phillips has given an replace to the Commons on the federal government’s technique to deal with what it describes as a "national emergency."

Ms Phillips tells MPs that one in each eight ladies was the sufferer of home abuse, stalking or sexual assault final yr.

Among measures to "stop these crimes from ever happening" are a crackdown on AI and on-line "nudification" instruments and a £20m funding to "fundamentally change how relationship, consent, and attitudes can be embedded through education".
