The schooling secretary has instructed Sky News the federal government will "consider" whether or not to scrap the two-child profit cap.
Labour refused to say throughout the basic election whether or not the cap could be abolished.
Bridget Phillipson instructed Sky News the transfer could be "very expensive" and the Conservative Party had "wrecked the economy".
"We are aware of the evidence around this, and as part of the review that we will conduct in the coming months we will consider that as part of a number of ways… in terms of how we can lift children out of poverty," she mentioned.
