Spring is here, but that’s no reason to go outside—not when the Steam store has a killer sale going on. The video game digital distribution service and storefront for PC games is running a Spring Sale between now and March 23, offering you a chance to pick up a backlog of acclaimed games at a steep discount.
Almost everything in the Steam store is on sale, some of them for as much as 90% off, including Civilization IV, so it’s worth perusing their inventory to see what draws your eye. The sale continues through March 23 at 10 a.m. PT, so time is running out.
Here are some of the best deals going on right now—and if you need something to play them on, note that all models of the Steam Deck—a Nintendo Switch-esque handhold that can play titles downloaded from the Steam store—are currently available for 10% off too.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — 70% off
This semi-open world game, released in 2015 and the later inspiration for the Netflix series The Witcher, ranks with the best open world games ever. You’ll easily put over 100 hours into this RPG, playing as monster hunter Geralt of Rivia as he embarks on a journey to find his former apprentice before the Wild Hunt can capture her and end the world. You can get the game for $12, or the entire trilogy for $15.
NBA 2K23 — 75% off
If you’re patient, you can reliably grabs games in EA Sports’ various franchise at a nice discount, and that time has come: For $15, you can pick up the latest NBA game and try the Jordan Challenge, which allows you to play as Michael Jordan and make your way through his historic career.
The Elder Scrolls Online — 70% off
