Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh has been killed in Iran, says Iran state media, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. According to the state-run outlet IRNA, the assault occurred with an “airborne guided projectile” the place Haniyeh was staying. The Hamas chief was visiting Iran for the inauguration of the nation’s newly elected president Masoud Pezeshkian.
