Hantavirus cruise passengers all test negative as they begin 42-day isolation, says health chief
All 20 British nationals evacuated from the hantavirus-hit cruise ship have tested negative and remain symptom-free as they begin isolation.
The UK Health Security Agency’s chief scientist, Professor Robin May, says the passengers face 42 days of isolation, but stresses the virus doesn’t transmit easily like COVID.
