Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano, one of the energetic on the earth, is erupting once more in a distant space of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park that’s closed to the general public.
Lava started flowing from a brand new fissure vent that opened from east to west inside the volcano’s Nāpau Crater early Tuesday morning, in keeping with the U.S. Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.
The space surrounding the rim of Kilauea’s Halemaʻumaʻu crater has been closed to the general public since 2008 as a result of hazards.
