Health Secretary Sky News calls physician strikes "irresponsible" and "reckless" as they start their five-day walkout.
He urged BMA to cease the strikes, saying "You’re setting again the progress we’re making within the NHS”.
He mentioned: “they’ve now had the highest pay rise two years in a row, that is why this industrial action is not only unnecessary but completely irresponsible”.
