Lost for 17 days in a Hawaii forest reserve, most of it with a damaged leg and burns to her ft so extreme they virtually required amputation, Amanda Eller held out hope somebody was coming to rescue her.
Now, 5 years after her dramatic rescue from Maui’s Makawao Forest Reserve, Eller informed ABC News she’s persevering with to heal from what was a traumatic, life-changing expertise.
