Home Office minister Jess Phillips has resigned, Sky’s Beth Rigby political editor has exclusively revealed, as calls grow louder for Sir Keir Starmer to stand down as Prime Minister.
In a letter to Sir Keir Starmer, the safeguarding minister wrote: "I think you are a good man fundamentally, who cares about the right things however I have seen first-hand how that is not enough."
