West Midlands Police chief constable Craig Guildford has apologised to MPs for giving them "erroneous" proof concerning the resolution to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv followers, blaming using AI.
It comes on the day Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, is because of make a press release to MPs after receiving a report on the choice to ban the Maccabi followers from attending a Europa League match towards Aston Villa in November.
The pressure has been accused of misrepresenting the menace to justify advocating the exclusion of the Israeli membership’s followers from the match at Villa Park in Birmingham.
