Home secretary says she has no confidence in police chief following report into Maccabi fan ban
West Midlands Police chief constable Craig Guildford has apologised to MPs for giving them "erroneous" proof in regards to the resolution to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv followers, blaming the usage of AI.
It comes on the day Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, is because of make an announcement to MPs after receiving a report on the choice to ban the Maccabi followers from attending a Europa League match in opposition to Aston Villa in November.
The drive has been accused of misrepresenting the menace to justify advocating the exclusion of the Israeli membership’s followers from the match at Villa Park in Birmingham.
