Labour’s Rushanara Ali has resigned as homelessness minister.
In a letter to the prime minister, she mentioned remaining within the function could be "a distraction from the ambitious work of this government".
It comes after the i Paper reported on Thursday that she had evicted her tenants earlier than mountain climbing up the hire on her east London property by £700.
