Around 700 sub-postmasters and sub-mistresses have been accused of theft, fraud and false accounting between 1999 and 2015 as the results of an error within the Horizon accounting system.
Representatives from the Post Office and Fujitsu – the agency behind the defective Horizon software program – confronted scrutiny from MPs.
